About GSS

The SEFS Graduate Student Symposium is a day dedicated to graduate students and their research. It is organized by and for graduate students, with the support of the Xi Sigma Pi Forestry Honor Society. At this day long symposium we highlight the work of our graduate students through presentations and a poster session. We also invite outside panelists (often former SEFS alumni) to present on a topic of interest. Ultimately, the symposium provides graduate students with the opportunity to present to their colleagues and professors, and gain valuable experience and feedback.
