ANALYTICAL SERVICE CENTER
The University of Washington Analytical Service Center, founded in the 1960's, is an independent chemical analysis center performing samples analyses for research and education related to environment, forest, ecology and agriculture.
Advanced instrumentation is capable of analyzing soil, plant and aqueous samples for physical, biological and chemical properties.
Dongsen Xue is manager of the Analytical Service Center. He has both a BS and MS in soil chemistry and over 30 years of experience working analytical laboratories.
The Center instrumentation is chosen based upon different analytical requests, research projects and class requests. Sample preparation is available for samples if needed. All methods follow EPA or standard analytical methods and QC samples are used to assure quality.
